Job Description

  • Able to troubleshoot Hardware (PC, Printer) and Software/Application.
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
  • Ensure restorability of data for Database, File systems and Messaging systems.
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
 

Job Requirement

  • Minimum SPM qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year working experience in IT related industry.
  • Knowledge in PC, Printer, Server, Operating System and etc.
  • Experience in troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking.
  • Result driven.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Malaysian ONLY

Job Description

This function responsible for all IT-issues and IT-requirements and the main task to ensure that the IT - landscape is operated on a level of "excellence" and that the standard IT-Compliance which is provided by the Manager Regional IT Services Asia Pacificis full filled.

Main tasks
  • Experiences: 
- First and second level support,
- PC-Lifecycle, LAN,WAN and basic IT-Infrastructure,
- Basic knowledge of SAP, and ERP processes,
  Sound knowledge of local applications and
-IT-Service Management

Realization and creation of concepts for customer and project requirements under economic management point of view and align to the IT-strategy based on Company success
  • Coordination & documentation of Users Support Requests to higher support levels and problem tracking until solution.
  • Communicate the local business requirements to Group Information Management by standard processes
  • Perform local IT operation, include network, email, servers, backups, and PCs.
  • Implementation and Setup, Content update and controlling of compliance of group wide IT Service Management Processes (ITSM,ITIL V3)
  • Responsible for local IT budget preparation discussion with local management and Regional IT Manager.
  • Purchase the necessary hardware to operate the IT systems
  • Training of new  functions, features, standards, methods, rules, processes (defined by GIM)of the new system. 

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalence
  • 3 years experience
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, German would be added advantage
